Car rental service terms
The Rent2Azores car rental policy is as follows:
- Minimum driver age: 21 years.
- Driving license: It is necessary to have a driving license for at least 1 year.
- Third party insurance: All our vehicle rentals include third party insurance, which protects the driver in the event of an accident with a third party. This insurance covers bodily and material damage caused to third parties.
- Own damage insurance: Rent2Azores offers a special insurance with full coverage of damage to the rented vehicle. This insurance covers damage to the rental vehicle, including accidents, theft, vandalism, fire and damage caused by wild animals.
- Mileage coverage: All our vehicle rentals include unlimited mileage coverage, which means that our customers can drive their rental vehicle without worrying about the number of kilometers driven.
- Deposit: When picking up the rented vehicle, a deposit in the amount of one day of rental may be required. However, this deposit will be waived if payment has been made in full at the time of booking or picking up the vehicle. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, provided that the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented.
- Cancellation conditions: If the customer needs to cancel the vehicle rental, they can do so free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental period. If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, a cancellation fee equivalent to one day of rental will be charged.
